Living lightly is possible, but it requires me to lay down burdens, and let go of any heaviness in my heart. Heaviness comes when we hold on to memories of hurt, whether they were caused by someone's words, someone’s actions, a situation, or even my own words and actions. To remain light and cheerful, full of good wishes for the self and others, is an act of creation. When we view life as a magnificent game, we can retain our enthusiasm and happiness and create wonders.

What few of us realise is that it is all down to my own perception of the self and others. When this is truly understood, it is immensely liberating. Focusing on the weaknesses and mistakes of others makes me miserable and unhappy, and weakens me spiritually. Even more so, when I only see the weaknesses of others, then those very weaknesses are awakened within me. The vision I have of life, people, and situations determines the experienced of my life. It is all up to me and my thoughts.
