Sheena Bora murder case: Indrani Mukerjea approaches Supreme Court seeking permission to travel abroad

In May 2022, the Supreme Court granted her bail considering her incarceration for nearly 6.5 years as an undertrial in the case concerning the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora and the bail conditions required her to deposit her passport and not to leave India without the permission of the trial court.

The Supreme Court in the case observed wherein Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the high-profile murder case of Sheena Bora, has approached seeking permission to travel to Spain and the United Kingdom, UK.

Indrani Mukerjea has filed a Special Leave Petition against the order of Bombay High Court, wherein the court denied her permission to travel abroad.
