|August 23, 2024
BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Thursday said that the Congress government in Telangana had not fulfilled its promise of waiving off all farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh.
"We are fighting for the farmers. Congress party had promised that on 9 December, all loans up to Rs 2 lakh will be waived off.
But it has been 8 months now but now even not 1/7th of the loans have been waived off," KTR told ANI.
He questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's claim that his government had completed the waiving off of all farm loans as promised.
