No headway as HAU protest escalates over VC's removal

The standoff at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar, entered its 13th day with no breakthrough in sight, as protesting students remain resolute in their demand for the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Baldev Raj Kamboj.
After two rounds of talks, a four-member ministerial committee formed by the Haryana government failed to persuade the students to end their agitation during talks held over the weekend.
As per the sources, the students have made it clear that they will not end the protest until the VC is removed and all the officials booked are arrested.
Now the third meeting between students and the ministerial committee will be held on Monday.
