No new advts for teachers recruitment without JTET exam: HC

The Jharkhand High Court has issued a major and important order regarding the recruitment of teachers in the state.

On Thursday, while hearing a petition against the non-conduct of the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET), the court directed that the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) conduct the JTET exam by March 2026. The court also made it clear that therecruitment process for theremaining Assistant Professor posts will not begin until the JTET exam is conducted and results are released.
