Degamo widow vows fight for justice amid Teves bail

Janice Degamo vowed to continue fighting for justice after a Manila court granted the bail petition of former Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. in one of his murder cases.
“I will never stop fighting to make sure that justice is served no matter how long or difficult the process may be,” Degamo said in a statement.
In a 29-page order dated Sept. 10, the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 12 recommended a bail of PI20,000 for Teves in connection with the murder of a bodyguard of a Basay, Negros Oriental mayoral candidate in May 2019.
