Two more persons have died from suspected rabies in Negros Occidental.
Provincial Health Officer Girlie Pinongan said four individuals have passed away after being infected with the virus in the province this year.
The third victim was a 21-year-old woman in Cauayan town.
The fourth was a 25-year-old woman living in this city, but a native of Kabankalan City.
Pinongan said the 25-year-old victim died in a government hospital here on Sunday, May 25, two months after she was bitten by a dog in her hometown Kabankalan City.
