Fake docs running high-end clinics

Fake doctors with no competency in dermatology and plastic surgery were allegedly found to be administering complex procedures such as hair transplantation, skin care, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and laser therapy to patients at a high-end clinic, Amyra, in Hanamkonda, during inspections by Telangana State Medical Council (TGMC).

The clinic was also found to be not having permission to operate from the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO). The clinic was being administered by Faz Shaikh and Imran Khan, who without possessing any medical qualifications were illegally providing treatments as doctors, the Council said.
