URGENT TREATMENT CENTRE TO EXPAND SERVICES PROVIDED AT EAST SURREY HOSPITAL
A SURREY NHS Trust has been granted an £8.6million investment to fund the construction of a new purpose-built Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) alongside the expansion of its main building.
East Surrey Hospital, in Redhill, is one of Surrey’s largest, serving both the county and parts of West Sussex. It has been announced this week that its facilities are set to become even larger, with the UTC construction.
The news comes after the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) has been granted £8.6m in capital investment from NHS England.
