Brothers take on marathon challenge to thank team who helped nephew

A CHARLWOOD man will run Sunday's London Marathon on behalf of the charity which helped his nephew recover after he was given just a 1% chance of survival having suffered a bleed on the brain.

James Lammas, 37, and his brother Ollie, will both run the legendary 26.2 miles in aid of Tadworth charity The Children’s Trust.

Both are uncles to Zac Lammas, 22, who stayed at the trust's residential rehabilitation centre after a brain injury at the age of 16.

When Zac arrived, following a month in a coma at St George’s Hospital in London after being given just a 1% chance of pulling through, he was unable to eat, walk or talk.
