Town's rich history to be shared during summer guided walks

FROM being described as a “royal possession” in records dated around 880AD, to today’s thriving town with a population of nearly 150,000, Guildford has a rich history.

This summer, Visit Guildford has announced it will be hosting free guided walks where attendees will be taken across the town, learning about the story behind its most interesting landmarks. From June until September, all are invited to come along and learn about the town's past.
