Big music names all set to perform summer concerts at historic palace

Hampton Court Court Palace Festival returns in June

The iconic summer concert series unfolds in June against the backdrop of Henry VIII's grand palace within a vast Tudor courtyard.

And this year another top class line-up of world-renowned artists will perform in the grounds of the stunning palace between June 10 and 20.

David Gray will open the festival with shows on Wednesday, June 10, and Thursday, June 11.

One of the most influential singer songwriters of his generation, he released his breakthrough album White Ladder in 1998 which went on to become the tenth best-selling album of the 21st century.

Over the course of 13 albums, Gray has consistently delivered emotionally-charged performances and profound songwriting, and has sold more than 11 million records worldwide.

OMD, one of the most influential synth-pop acts in history, will make their Hampton Court Palace debut on Friday, June 12.

The electro pioneers rose to fame in the early 1980s with huge hits such as Enola Gay, Souvenir and Joan of Arc among their 18 top 40 UK singles.

DJ, broadcaster, and dance music legend Pete Tong brings his acclaimed Ibiza Classics with The Essential Orchestra to Hampton Court Palace on Saturday, June 13.
