Pruning to be done as spring approaches

We had several must-do outdoor jobs on the list but suddenly time has run out, and this is not the first time we've been here! The year begins with an awareness that the weather might not agree with our plans, so a strong-willed stance based on wrapping up warmly, wearing waterproofs or ploughing through the snow is adopted.

But occasionally 'the best laid plans.....!'

We simply must make the most of February because the season takes off beyond that.

The lawns can be reclaimed in a day by mowing over them twice, with a cutting mechanism adjustment in between.
