Sunderland winger Romaine Mundle has admitted that his long-awaited Premier League debut at the weekend was everything he’s ever dreamed of.

The wide man made his first senior appearance for the Black Cats this season in a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bournemouth.
And as well as representing a major step forwards in his recovery from the hamstring surgery that has sidelined him in recent months, Saturday’s outing was also a notable personal milestone for Mundle - his first ever in the top flight.
