A community hub in a historic Sunderland building which provides education and support to local people needs help to replace the roof which has reached the end of its life.
The Donnison School Heritage Centre is raising money for a new roof.
The Donnison School was established in 1798 to educate 36 'poor girls' from Sunderland Parish.
In 2007 the Georgian Grade II listed building reopened, providing a community hub in the city's East End.
The venue now provides opportunities for community engagement through an annual programme of activities, events and community outreach.
