Burnmoor out to continue relentless charge to title

Burnmoor are 76 points clear at the top of the Dukes ECB North East Premier League, and this weekend they travel to lowly Tynemouth looking to take a huge step towards the title.
Club official Alec Linsley said: “We have two changes this week, as Allan Worthy is away and Mitch Killeen is on Durham Duty in the Metro Bank Cup. Luke Husband and Noah Worthy come in to the side, as we travel to Tynemouth.
“They have had a resurgence of late with Matty Brown scoring runs for fun.
"We remain 76 points ahead of Chester-le-Street and this is the last red ball game, so hopefully we can keep that cushion on heading in to our last five fixtures.”
Chester-le-Street have to try and win their last six games and hope Burnmoor slip up along the way.
The Cestrians have a tough match though when they face fourth placed Castle Eden at Ropery Lane on Saturday.
