Tiwari exits ‘Anupamaa’

ACTRESS Vidushi Tiwari, who portrayed Ishani in the Star Plus show Anupamaa, has officially stepped down from the series owing to serious health conditions.

The actress took to her social media account to share a heartfelt message with her followers revealing the physical and emotional struggles she faced over the last two months and her decision to prioritise her well-being.

She wrote that the past two months have been incredibly tough: physically, mentally, and emotionally and that she was in a dark place, struggling with her health as her lungs and throat began to fail.

She lost her voice and had trouble breathing. Tiwari said while she is getting better with treatment she has decided to step down from her role in Anupamaa.
