Six accused abandon bail in Pather murder case

SIX of the accused, one of who is an alleged prostitute, are believed to be behind the kidnapping and murder of Malcolm Pather have abandoned their bail application.

Formerly from Durban but had relocated to Cape Town, Pather’s body was found burnt beyond recognition earlier this year.
The accused have opted to remain behind bars while one of the women, the apparent sex worker, was focused on continuing her bail application.
