Marlin Veerasamy's journey in the travel industry

FOR more than two decades, Marlin Veerasamy, the driving force behind Ananzi Marketing and Travel, has been a pivotal player in the South African industry.

Veerasamy’s motivation is built on the idea of bridging cultures and economies. His career spans 25 years as Ananzi celebrates its 15th anniversary.

“The travel industry is key for global connection and collaboration,” he says, emphasising the importance of bringing people together to create unforgettable adventures.

One of the projects that is a source of pride for Veerasamy and his team is the Umhlatuzana Community Fair which has been hosted for two consecutive years and is described as a vibrant showcase of local culture and pride.

“It has brought colour and splendour to our community,” he reminisces.

His ethos is demonstrated through his collaboration with Rural Development ECD centres, where Ananzi provides essential water sanitation tanks, ensuring that local learners have access to clean water.

“This brings a lot of joy to our team,” says Veerasamy. “We find fulfilment in offering such vital services.”
