Shaun Muir and his double world championship winning race team will finally be back in action this week as 2026 testing begins.

Muir's ROKiT BMW Motorrad BMW WorldSBK team will join their World Superbike rivals in Spain later this week for the first official test of the year.

After clinching its second successive WSBk title last season with rider Toprak Razgatlioglu, it’s all change.

Toprak is headed to pastures new and will make his MotoGP debut, and in his place are two new racing stars ~ both with a MotoGP history.

Former GP rider Danilo Petrucci has been in World Superbike for a couple of seasons and has moved from the Barni Spark Racing squad to Muir's factory BMW outfit.

He will be joined this year by five-time MotoGP race winner Miguel Oliveira.
