GUISBOROUGH Town maintained their place at the top of the table with a professional performance in their 2-0 win at fourth placed Whitley Bay.

Matthew Wilshaw put the Priorymen in front with 19 minutes on the clock and Alfie Doherty settled the contest when he doubled the lead with quarter of an hour remaining.

Shildon kept pace with the leaders as they hit West Auckland Town for six at Dean Street.
