Boss says his Glas is half full in spite of losing star man

OLIVER GLASNER wants Crystal Palace fans to follow his lead - by using their frustration to breathe new life into his side.

The FA Cup-winning boss has allowed outside noise to influence his mood over the past few weeks.

Now he has drawn the line in time for today's firecracker with Nottingham Forest, who recently claimed Palace's spot in the Europa League following a bitter showdown in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Glasner said after losing Eberechi Eze to Arsenal in a £67.5million deal: "I had to reset my mind because sometimes you lose your focus of what's really important.

"It's also important that our fans switch, instead of shouting against somebody, shout for us. This is what we need, this is what this group deserves.

"I remember during the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley against Aston Villa, there were 40,000 supporters shouting for us, it gives us strength.
