Number eight's Artful dodge clinches happy late Bath

BATH surrendered a 26-point lead in an epic South-West derby - only to snatch victory in the most dramatic fashion in the closing seconds.

Exeter showed tremendous resilience to recover from a red card at the start of the game and drew level with just six minutes remaining.

But a try after 33 phases by No.8 Arthur Green saved Bath at the death and briefly sent them back to the top of the PREM table, before Northampton nudged them into second.

The drama began from the off when Henry Arundell was upended by Campbell Ridl and referee Luke Pearce showed the left wing a red, reducing the visitors to 14 for 20 minutes at the Recreation Ground.
