Jimenez crowing after he hits late Fulham winner

RAUL JIMENEZ dealt Sunderland a harsh lesson in Premier League reality - you cannot defend your box forever.

From the off, Regis Le Bris’ high flyers were happy to concede ground, allow crosses into the box and look to hit Fulham on the break.

It is a recipe that had served them well down the road against Chelsea.

But here it was the Cottagers, inspired by second-half subs Emile Smith Rowe and Samuel Chukwueze, who provided the much-needed late fireworks to grab the points.

Chukwueze produced the cross of the match, curled in behind the outstanding Dan Ballard, that allowed Jimenez to turn in the 84th-minute winner past Robin Roefs.
