Constitution would race his final hurdle in the Champion

NICKY HENDERSON will make the “seriously difficult” decision over Constitution Hill's Unibet Champion Hurdle participation by next weekend.

But the Champion Hurdle challenge should Henderson and the 2023 titleholder's owner Michael Buckley choose to accept it — is set to be Constitution Hill's final ever race over obstacles.

Falls in three of the gelding’s past four outings persuaded Henderson and Buckley to give Constitution Hill his Flat debut before a packed crowd at Southwell on Friday.
