Film buff Dan speaking Forest fans' language

- Neil Moxley REPORTING

DAN NDOYE watched Harry Potter films as a kid - and now he wants to be a wing wizard for Nottingham Forest.

The club’s new £40million signing breezed into the City Ground as a replacement for Anthony Elanga, having brushed up on his English by watching JK Rowling's epic film franchise.

Ndoye, 24, arrived from Bologna where he helped end a 51-year trophy drought by winning the Coppa Italia in May.

And the Senegal international hasn't needed any help getting his point across in the home dressing room ahead of today’s opener against Brentford.

He said: “I learnt English at school in Switzerland - and I've improved it since then by talking to teammates in various dressing rooms.
