EVERTON striker Beto is “more at peace" after discovering a better way of dealing with hostile keyboard warriors.

- EXCLUSIVE BY SIMON MULLOCK

At the start of the season, the £26million Lisbon-born Guinea-Bissau international admitted that he had fallen into the habit of collecting screen shots of social-media messages posted by online trolls.

He was hoping to thrive off his resulting anger and frustration. But a word of advice from club skipper Seamus Coleman prompted him to seek professional help to deal with the criticism in a more constructive way. Beto (right), 27, revealed: “I used to play with anger, but Seamus told me to stop taking the screenshots.

“He said, ‘I used to be like you. You're not going to get anywhere if you're just angry all the time’.

“Now I'm playing more at peace with myself. I don't care what some people say now.
