Ex-Kop captain needs help to win league for Ajax today ...from United legend Robin!

- EXCLUSIVE BY SIMON MULLOCK

JORDAN HENDERSON is looking for a big favour from his old Manchester United rival Robin van Persie.

Henderson, who lifted the Premier League trophy for Liverpool five years ago, could add the Dutch title to his medal collection today.

But only if the Feyenoord team that Van Persie now coaches wins against PSV Eindhoven and Ajax then beat NEC Nijmegen.

The midfielder will lead the Amsterdam giants out at the Johan Cruyff Arena - and they will be hoping it turns into an Eredivisie title party.

A PSV victory and an Ajax loss would reduce the gap to one point with two games left - and the leaders have been stuttering in recent weeks by drawing against Sparta Rotterdam and suffering a 4-0 thrashing by Utrecht before a nervy 2-1 win at Willem II.
