Horrific scenes on major route near Birmingham city centre
A WOMAN has died after she was hit by a car on a major Birmingham road in the early hours of the morning, police have confirmed.
The 28-year-old woman was struck by a black Audi RSQ8 along Dartmouth Middleway, Birmingham just before 2.30am on Saturday. She sadly died from her injuries.
A man aged 22 has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
