A 'beautiful' finale to big Juke's story

LUKAS Jutkiewicz delivered an emotional speech to his Birmingham City team-mates in the dressing room after the final match of his professional career.

The veteran striker has called time on his playing career after 358 appearances and 69 goals for the club.

He played a vital role in their final-day victory over Cambridge United. Although Jutkiewicz won't be credited with the winning goal in Blues' 2-1 triumph, Kelland Watts wouldn't have put through his own net had it not been for the 36-year-old's presence.

Speaking about Jutkiewicz's impact, Blues manager Chris Davies said: “To be fair to him, he came on and had three or four chances all from his own movement and being in the right place.
