ZIPPIDY doo da! What a car. I jumped into the Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica Veloce to go to the shops and half an hour later I was still driving. It's fun.

This small crossover simply zips along, hauls you into corners and out again and is such a pleasure to drive you just don't want to go home.

What is it? Alfas reply to the rush for small SUVs rather than small sports cars.

It has created a really pretty little electric crossover in two-tone paint with a cute nose and headlights, sculpted silhouette and integrated spoiler and well, a very attractive rear end.

It is Italian after all.

In this Veloce form, however you get the race-ready version which is more than hot, it is on fire.

Put your foot down and it takes off.
