CELTIC boss Elena Sadiku has revealed that she draws daily inspiration from the Lisbon Lions.

The Swede spoke of her reverence for the club's most celebrated players as she reflected on Maria McAneny making a scoring debut for Scotland.

The Lions homegrown status resonates with Sadiku who is determined to raise the standard at the Hoops.

“When I first came to Celtic and heard about the Lisbon Lions, I drew so much from their story and what it means,” she said.
