ALEX SAMUEL reckons Partick Thistle will need to be switched on from the first whistle until the last if they want to shock Celtic.

The striker grabbed his first goal since joining the Jags from Ross County with a late winner against Airdrie on Friday.

That made it five wins on the trot for Mark Wilson's side and Samuel would love to experience the joy of six against Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup quarterfinal next Sunday.
