Jambos rout Bairns to go top ... and Del wants to stay there

DEREK McINNES watched Hearts soar to the top of the table - and then challenged his players to stay there for as long as they can.

The Jambos took advantage of Celtic's goalless draw at home to Hibs to move two points clear with a convincing 3-0 victory over Falkirk.

There is a genuine feeling of something special building in Gorgie with the help of ambitious investor Tony Bloom, and McInnes wants his team to relish riding the crest of the wave.

The Tynecastle boss, who saw Alexandros Kyziridis, Lawrence Shankland and Craig Halkett get on the scoresheet ahead of next weekend's derby visit of Hibs, said: "I want us to try and stay up at the top end of the table, those top positions, for as long as we can.
