Robbo hails Rovers’ spirit as Easton buries a beauty
BARRY ROBSON insists Raith have become battle ready as they banked their first league win thanks to a first-minute wonder goal from Dylan Easton.
The Stark's Park boss feels his side showed the fighting spirit to cope with blustery Somerset Park conditions.
Robson is adamant it’s night and day from when he first arrived at the club last season.
He said: "The wind spoiled the game. The goal came from a press which we had worked on and Dylan's finish was terrific.
"The wind made it so difficult for both teams. You try to play it long and the ball runs out and it’s hard to play short.
"I felt for both sets of players. We normally play a lot more football than that but we just couldn't. When I first arrived here as manager I was just in the door and we came to Ayr.
