Couple win 10-year battle with council
TENS of thousands of Scots could be in the wrong council tax band and in line for compensation, experts say - after one couple won a huge £4000 refund.
Peter and Tracey Craigmile fought a 10-year battle with Moray Council to downgrade their home from an incorrect higher band F to band E.
After winning in January, the refund was backdated 10 years.
