Sweetness and light on dark nights

PARENTS across the country will be delighted to see all the fun of Halloween and Bonfire Night behind them - while they try to salvage a treat out of the dregs of their kids’ sweetie hauls.

We luckily only really had Percy Pigs and some very delish grownup treats from Hotel Chocolat.

But most houses will be awash with endless supplies of Haribo, strawberry skulls and possibly tablet.

While I don’t want to condemn the sweets consumed by children over the last few weeks, it's maybe a good time to think about how to get your sugar in slightly better forms.
