Stevie salutes slick Sons as they wipe points deduction

STEVIE FARRELL hailed 10-man Dumbarton as they secured back-to-back wins and wiped out their points deduction with a 2-1 victory at Spartans.

The Sons have enjoyed early success from corner-kicks this season and took the lead from one, with Dom Docherty's ball being helped into his own net by Jamie Dishington.

Kai Kirkpatrick doubled Dumbarton's lead before the break but Mark Stowe's third goal in two got Spartans back in the game.
