SCOT GEMMILL reckons new Scotland striker starlet Caelan Cadamarteri is a chip off the old block - after being a teammate with his dad Danny at Everton.

The Manchester City kid netted a hat-trick this week for Scotland Under-17s in their 4-1 win against Lithuania, which followed on from a victory against England in the Euro qualifiers.

Scotland Under-21s boss Gemmill has been impressed with the progress of Cadamarteri, who joined big guns City in the summer in a £1.5million move from Sheffield Wednesday.
