We made Well look good and it's my fault says Robbo

STEPHEN ROBINSON blamed himself as his Buddies drew a blank.

The St Mirren boss claimed he messed up by backing off Motherwell too much in the first half.

He reckons Saints made Well look good without them greatly threatening Shamal George's goal - and that getting in about the Steelmen earlier could've swung a tight game in his side's favour.

Robbo said: "I think we complicated the press a little bit. We maybe gave too much respect to them in terms of them playing out in their own half. That's my responsibility, that's my fault.

"We sat off and made them perhaps look better in certain areas. That wasn't hurting us but in the second half we rectified that.
