THE son of a 90s pop group's lead singer has been jailed for almost 11 years after heading a County Lines' operation into Scotland.

Thomas Hooton, whose dad, Peter fronted The Farm, was caught after investigators found photos on his phone of the famous musician.

The 30-year-old is the latest criminal jailed after encrypted phone network Encrochat was hacked by experts.

Priot to this, it had been predominantly used by underworld figures to source drugs and weapons as well as organise attacks on rivals.
