FROM the moment this disaster happened, the Scottish people have taken care of us.

- MICHELLE CIULLA LIPKIN

My dad's body was found furthest away from the centre of the crash, six miles out on Minsca Farm. We have developed a deep relationship with Hugh and Margaret Connell, who found him, and we visit regularly.

Our family members didn't lose their humanity when they fell in Scotland. The act of violence that brought them there was so inhumane, the worst of evil, and what the people of the town gave us by keeping our loved ones human is a gift that there are no words of gratitude to meet.
