Phew for my favourite tins

THERE was proper British outrage recently when it was revealed Easter Eggs have become the latest targets of shrinkflation.

Not only had some risen in price by up to 50 per cent, they were smaller too. More money for less chocolate.

This might not seem as important as the April Cruel Day we had where everything from bills to tax went up but nothing gets people riled up as much as having the mickey taken out of our favourite foods.

This came back to me this week when I read that the large bar of Dairy Milk is now £6 in some shops.

I'm no chocolate snob and if I do fancy a piece, I'm as happy with a Freddo as squares of Green & Black's.
