Paulo bows out as the Dutch get 10 out of 10

CELTIC star Paulo Bernardo will be heading home early from the Under-21 Euros after his Portugal side were stunned by the 10-man Dutch.

Second-half sub Ernest Poku struck the only goal on the break with just six minutes to play as the Portuguese were left to lick their wounds after failing to break through Oranje’s resolute defence.

Bernardo and Co headed into this quarter-final with their tails up after big wins over Poland and Georgia.
