JOHN MCcGLYNN hailed the joy of six as Flip Lissah’s first goal for the Bairns lifted them into the top half of the Premiership.

The Falkirk boss was delighted with another impressive display as his team moved just 13 points away from his 40-point survival target.

McGlynn is adamant nothing has been achieved and there’s plenty still to come from his team after they battered the Dons from start to finish.

He said: “Were delighted to be in the top six but we know there’ a lot of hard work still to be done.

“We've picked up 12 points now within these rounds of games.

“We picked up 15 points in the first round. Now we've got 12 points with two games to go against St Mirren and Celtic.

“Were within touching distance of that 15-point target we set.

“If we could get that it would be amazing. However, were delighted we got the three points today. It's got us up on the 27-point mark.

“There’s room for improvement with regards to the chances that we created, the crosses that we got in the box.

“Can we finish these things off?

“It's extremely pleasing and a great three points for us to get against Aberdeen — now home and away - and it was fully merited”
