Late leveller with 10 men shows United are back on up

MANCHESTER UNITED stretched their unbeaten run to five games after snatching a point with 10 men in the dying seconds.

It looked like the Red Devils had done enough for a win as Tottenham struggled to muster a response to Bryan Mbeumo's first-half header.

But a deflected goal from Mathys Tel got Spurs back level six minutes from time and United were then reduced to 10 men when Benjamin Sesko hobbed off injured after all their subs had been used.

Richarlison nodded Thomas Frank's men ahead in stoppage time but the drama wasn't over yet and Matthijs de Ligt headed home a leveller.

Ruben Amorim’s side are made from sterner stuff this season but the United boss admits he may have to sign a new striker in January if Sesko’s injury is serious.
