HE may be the second-oldest manager in the SPFL but John McGlynn's knowledge of the modern game is second to none, according to Paul Smith.

The Falkirk assistant reckons the 63-year-old is still one of the most underrated bosses in the country, despite winning back-to-back PFA Scotland Manager of the Year awards in the last two seasons.

Smith has been McGlynn's assistant for two spells at Raith and the last three years at Falkirk.
