Actor opens up on tough story line, his love of flying and getting back to Scotland for farm show and to play keyboards for soap's band
SCOTTISH actor Lawrence Robb has told how he hated keeping soap's biggest twist of the year a secret after his Emmerdale character was revealed to be still alive.
Lawrence hasn't liked lying to fans about what happened to his character Mackenzie (Mack) Boyd.
On Friday the STV series revealed he hadn't been murdered after all, but was badly injured and stashed in an underground bunker.
The rumours that the character had been killed off began circulating way back in December in a flash-forward scene of him running through the woods.
Last week he was attacked by village killer John Sugden.
In his first interview since Friday's shocking scenes the 34-year-old, who hails from Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire, said: "I've found it so hard to keep this a secret. That's what I'm looking forward to the most - not having to lie any more about his fate.
"It will be a relief to shed the pressure of not confirming nor denying his death.
