Iga rout of this world with final whitewash

IGA SWIATEK admitted it felt surreal to clinch her first Wimbledon title with an historic whitewash of Amanda Anisimova.

The Pole, who had won five Slams but was taking part in her first Wimbledon final, was a hot favourite with the bookies to win.

But nobody expected her to crush the No.13 seed, with her American opponent left in tears after losing 6-0 6-0.

It's the first time in 114 years that a player has failed to win a single game in women's Wimbledon final.
