Rugby Park gaffer blanks flak on return to Well - as his stars plunder late point
-
STUART KETTLEWELL insisted he never let the boos from Motherwell fans get under his skin.
And Killie's George Stanger silenced the flak merchants by hitting a late leveller after keeper Calum Ward's howler.
Now, after four league games, both sides have recorded four draws - with identical goals records.
Rugby Park boss Kettlewell knew he'd be a target on his Fir Park return.
He quit Well in January, citing fans’ abuse as the reason - and he was given a less-than-warm reception on his first time back.
But Motherwell will be kicking themselves after throwing away a lead for the second week in a row.
Ward's fumble let in Stanger to claim a late leveller after Well had fought back, following Djenairo Daniels’ opener for Killie, with goals from Tawanda Maswanhise and Emmanuel Longelo.
